Courseware Developers (CDIP)

CDIP will be involved in the design & development of WSQ [1] courseware, specifically for IP Competency Framework standards [2]. The available categories for courseware design and development are: IP Research, IP Protection, IP Finance, Technology Incubation, IP Exploitation, IP Enforcement and Business Management.

Requirements:

  • CDIP shall possess an ACTA qualification and preferably DACE qualification/candidate. Most preferably if you have prior experirence in the design and development of at least one WSQ unit.

  • CDIP needs to be familiar with the different forms of Intellectual Property such as Patent, Trademark, Copyright, Confidential Secrets and Designs.

  • CDIP developing "IP Finance" modules shall be be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or has a postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance. The IP Finance related modules are: "Evaluate IP financing", "Evaluate IP valuation", "Evaluate taxation in IP". In addition, CPAs and CFAs may be engaged to collaborate on IP valuation/consulting projects - need to be familiar with Income Tax Act Section 19B.

  • CDIP developing "IP Protection" and/or "IP Enforcement" shall possess a law degree, preferably IP degree/specialisation.

  • Upon acceptance of the courseware, CDIP may be further engaged as the module facilitator and assessor.

  • Candidates shall currently be residing in Singapore.

  • Good written English and oral communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, optimistic, independent and pleasant personality.
